About the Lecturer I
Jason is a dedicated educator and lecturer at the University of Guyana Berbice Campus (UGBC), specializing in Computer Science and Distance Education. He teaches core courses such as Introduction to Programming, Data Structures and Analysis of Algorithms, and Contemporary Programming in the Department of Computer Science, fostering foundational and advanced skills in his students.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, an Associate of Science Degree in Mathematics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and a master’s in business administration, all from the University of Guyana. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Education, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field through research and innovation.
In addition to his teaching role, Jason is the Head of the Distance Education Department at the Institute of Distance and Continuing Education (IDCE). Here, he leads initiatives to provide accessible and high-quality education to diverse learners across Guyana.
