About the Coordinator the Division of College of Medical Science. Lecture 1

Terrence is a dedicated nursing professional and educator, passionate about advancing healthcare and nurturing the next generation of nurses. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Guyana and a Master of Science in Advanced Nursing from the University of the West Indies, he built a strong academic foundation to complement his practical experience. Currently, he is serving as a lecturer at the University of Guyana’s Turkeyen and Tain Campus in the School of Nursing, part of the College of Medical Sciences. In this role, he is committed to empowering students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the dynamic field of nursing. His teaching philosophy emphasizes evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and compassionate care.

Throughout his career, he has been deeply invested in fostering professional growth and contributing to healthcare improvement. His areas of interest include advanced clinical practice, continuing nursing education, and curriculum development. I take pride in inspiring others to achieve their full potential and in making meaningful contributions to the health and well-being of communities. He is committed to lifelong learning and innovation in nursing. He belives in the transformative power of education to drive excellence in healthcare delivery.
